The Middle Years Program (MYP) at NOVA is a rigorous, research backed program that encourages inquiry thinking skills and prepares students well for the Diploma Program.  The MYP focuses on conceptual understanding and develops students' Approaches to Learning skills (ATL) through global contexts. Students in this program take courses from each of the eight subject groups ensuring a well rounded education.  Each year of the program students will experience a minimum of one interdisciplinary learning experience. Students are also expected to be active participants in the community through Service as action projects.  The program culminates in the personal project, an individual student project that allows students to showcase their ATL skills and personal learning passions.
