NOVA Libraries   - Centers of Learning, Research, Recreational and Curricular Reading

NOVA’s division libraries (Elementary, Middle and High School) contain a collection of over 10,000 printed volumes in addition to different multi-media resources. Our book collection includes classics and contemporary children’s literature, young adult fiction, graphic novels, popular fiction, Newbery, Caldecott and other award winners, picture books, and board books for younger readers. We also have a wide range of non-fiction collections and reference materials that support students’ research projects and teachers’ classroom activities.

Each library provides computers and tablets for students’ daily research. The MS library also can be used as a media center with a digital projector, screen and sound system.

NOVA’s division libraries welcome the entire school community – students, teachers and parents. We encourage and guide our members to explore the wonderful world of literature and to use all of our multi-media resources.

  • Book Fairs are held two to three times a year to introduce and sell new titles and authors.

  • Reading assemblies are held throughout the year to consistently encourage students to read every day and to celebrate their accomplishments.

  • Reading contests intrigue students to read literary works in depth and to analyze the works critically.

  • Blind Dates with a Book are held through the year in the High School library. Students check out a book that is wrapped and share their reading response in written form.

  • Also, Get Connected @ Your Library, Bring Your Favorite Book Day, Read My T-Shirt Day, Library Cinema.
