PreK- Visit to the ZOO

What is a better way to learn about animals, than going to the Zoo? Pre-K had a wonderful experience observing and learning interesting facts about penguins, flamingos, lions. We learned what is the difference between crocodiles and alligators (the proof is in the teeth), African and Indian elephants (hint: look at the ears) and how snakes smell food (plot twist: they use their tongues). The hippo was having a bath, and the tiger was having his nap. It was a wonderful adventure, and we hope to go on many more soon.
