Students take the lead in our math classes

Students in our HS division were given a chance during their math classes to create presentations on a topic of their own choosing, connected to the course content, and then to present it to their classmates. Each student had 10 minutes to present and then challenge the class to a discussion. Some of the presentation topics included: How did the Romans/ Egyptians solve math problems? Is there math in Bach’s music?, Escher’s paintings? Celsius versus Fahrenheit?
