HS health and wellness presentation

Preparing ourselves mentally for exams can be demanding. In supporting our learners during this stressful time, we gathered to share ideas on how to fuel our bodies and brains. Focusing on the 4 core components on physical wellness, sleep, hydration, food and exercise, our nutritionist consultant highlighted the importance of making informed and deliberate choices to maximize our chances of success, both in and out of school. Students were given samples of healthy choices including wraps and quinoa salads in order to experience how tasty healthy options can really be. Feedback from our participants indicated high levels of engagement and relevance of the information presented in a timely manner. This event contributes to our ongoing plan for wellness provision at Nova.
