NOVA International School Skopje is a diverse learner community with students and staff from over 40 countries. It is the school of choice for the expat and diplomatic community in Skopje, as well as local families with a global outlook. It is an International Baccalaureate World Continuum school, following Common Core standards, to students in grades PK-12. The School was founded in 1997, the first registered private education institution in Skopje, N. Macedonia. The campus is spaciously situated in a residential neighborhood near the city center.

 NOVA Tenth-grade Student Is Among the Top Three Winners at the International Balkan Voices Speech Tournament

🎤We’re thrilled to share that two of our Upper Secondary students, Izabel Eritsyan (10th grade) and Vanja Velkova (11th grade), had a very successful participation at the international speech tournament featuring high school students from across the Balkans, showcasing their strengths in an original oratory competition. Izabel took the stage with a captivating speech on lucid dreaming, diving deep into the fascinating world of dreams. Her eloquence and passion earned her a spot in the finals, securing third place! Meanwhile, Vanja tackled social media and mental health, showcasing her insight and perspective.

Outspoken Journalist Vasko Popetrevski Explains Modern Media's Role to Global Politics Students

📌Through a lively discussion with 12th-grade students, our guest speaker, widely known as the editor-in-chief of the 360 stepeni ("360 Degrees'') interview-style informative program, addressed vital issues concerning the contemporary state and function of the media. Emphasizing the media’s primary role in informing the public, fostering democratic processes, and ensuring transparency and accountability among public officials, he elaborated on the necessity for the public to be informed about the allocation and utilization of public funds. Moreover, he underscored the importance of financial independence for the media to fulfill their duties responsibly.

Our PreK-3 and PreK-4 Students Had a Special Visit from Local Police Officers!

👮‍♂️Our little ones engaged in an interactive session about traffic regulations and safety. From the importance of wearing a helmet while riding a bike to understanding the legal provisions surrounding road safety, our officers ensured our youngsters were well-informed and equipped to stay safe on the streets. The students eagerly participated in all planned activities, asking questions and absorbing valuable knowledge from our dedicated officers.
