Meet our new faculty members - Angjelina Protikj [MS Science Teacher]

My name is Angjelina Protikj, a Macedonian-Canadian citizen, married with two children. Understanding science was always my passion and teaching others how things work comes naturally to me. My new role at NOVA, with its international environment, is a great fit. I'm looking forward in contributing to the children's' and school’s academic success. I'm quite excited about the upcoming brainstorming classes with our beautiful young minds, in order to hear their scientific out-of-box thinking.

Before I joined NOVA, I had worked as a PhD researcher at NKI-AVL hospital in Amsterdam, a MSc researcher in a pediatric hospital in Toronto and as a research/teaching assistant at Ryerson University, Toronto. After 15 years of international scientific experience I'm really happy to be back in Macedonia in order to share my knowledge and skills. Outside of work, I like to run, play handball and volleyball.
